Find a design for sewing project EMAIL the design to Mrs. White at [email protected]

Clean up after yourselves three minutes before the end of the period.

2. select pattern (search Google images "cartoon" or "coloring pages" for a simplified design
3. email image to Mrs. White @ [email protected].
4.watch video clips on how to thread the sewing machine, wind, and load a bobbin (you may use your own headphones or borrow from the black create located to the left of the door).
Or machines are slightly different so I will demonstrate this to you on Monday.

2. Read Chapter 34 Fibers and Fabrics complete study guide.
3. Work on fashion doll that is due tomorrow or complete the fibers word search.

Procedure:

Motivational Strategy/Anticipatory Set- Some people think school uniforms prevent teens from expressing their individual styles. Discussion on how the students feel.
The class will Read" Chapter 33 in teh Applying Life Skills textbook.
The student will take notes from the PowerPoint on design principles and elements of design.
Complete fashion design paper doll activity where the students will design an outfit and write a summary paragraph who it was designed for and way the designs were chosen. They must state what design principles and elements they used and why. Place in the "to be graded bin" when completed.

Read the ten tips on selecting beverage choices from the MyPlate.
Read "Energy Overload" article and complete questions.
Read additional article from the two choices Mrs. White has and complete the report for a grade.

Make Jambalaya follow the recipe below.
