As some of you might know, Cross Country is ending on Tuesday, October 4th. All of the runners have had a great season and worked very hard since the beginning of July. They have improved immensely and had great accomplishments. For example, Carter French beat the record for our home course. He ran the 1.75 mile course in nine minutes and twenty-three seconds. And who could forget the Deer Lakes meet where the middle school girls, Annasophia West, Alyssa Patterson, and Alexis Steele, took first, second and third place.
If you watched throughout the season and saw the cross country team run, you most definitely got to see the progress of the team. You can see the companionship by looking at their faces when they’re with their team. Truly, the cross country team has grown as runners, people, and students. The Knoch School District couldn’t be more proud of them.
