KMS Engineering Students Face First Construction Challenge

The engineering students in Mr. Purdy's class kicked off their year by participating in a design challenge where they had to design, build and test a "weather ball" tower out of news paper.  The freestanding tower had to hold a golf ball ("Weather Ball") 54"-60" off the floor.  While designing and building, the students were tasked with using the least amount of materials possible.
